Are You Wondering What Is Open?

Many people are ready for a change of scenery and are ready to get out of the house. And yet what is open and where can you go? We will see changes over the coming weeks as Palm Beach County looks at the COVID-19 status. 

Palm Beach County has reopened pools, marinas and boat ramps, county parks, and public and private golf courses,  with limitations. Social distancing should be followed whenever possible. 

What is Open?

• The Beaches are open for walking and swimming. There are many restrictions however it is progress.
• Restaurants are able to open with revised occupancy of 50% for indoor areas.
• Retail stores are able to open with revised occupancy of 50%
• Gyms are open.
• Palm Beach County Golf courses will be open for single play.
• Tennis courts and pickleball courts are for single play.
• Boat ramps are open however social distancing is required.
• Parks and natural areas will be open for one way linking, walking, running, fishing canoeing, equestrian activities, and kayaking. Basketball and volleyball courts are for single use only. 
• Swimming pools are open with limited capacity to allow for social distancing.  Check with your local and community pools to confirm. 
• Private outdoor businesses that allow for social distance such as mini-golf are now opening. Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf is open for safe, fun for everyone. 
• Doctors' and dentists' offices, nonessential surgical facilities, physical therapists; mental health professionals; pharmacies, urgent care centers,  labs; blood banks, home health agencies, and hospitals are able to open.
• Your pets can be cared for too as veterinarians and boarding facilities are open.

What is not open currently?

• Pool seating and lounging areas are closed. Locker room and shower facilities are closed. 
• Dog parks are closed.
• Playgrounds are closed. 
• Bars
