Lifestyle, EventsHalloween in Palm Beach County 2026: Trunk-or-Treat, Haunted Houses and the Best Local Celebrations
Where are the best Halloween events in Palm Beach County in 2026?
Jupiter PumpkinFest at Harbourside Place is today, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Fright Nights at the South Florida Fairgrounds opens tonight. Coming up are Halloween by the Sea in Boca Raton on October 18, festivals in Delray Beach and Palm Beach Gardens on October 24, Clematis by FRIGHT on October 29 and the Boynton Beach Pirate Fest on October 31 and November 1.
I have worked in Palm Beach County real estate since 1989, and October is one of my favorite months to be out in town. The heat finally eases, the evenings get comfortable, and nearly every city puts on something for Halloween.
Here is a guide to the events I found for this October, in date order. For each one you will see what it is, when it happens, where to go and what it costs. When the organizer has not posted a price, I point you to their official website so you get the latest.
This Weekend: Jupiter PumpkinFest and Fright Nights
Jupiter PumpkinFest
What: The 10th annual PumpkinFest has a pumpkin patch, trick-or-treating at more than 50 vendors, live music, food and drinks, face painting and stilt walkers.

If you are making a full Saturday of it, I put together a few ideas in how locals spend Saturday in Jupiter.
Fright Nights at the South Florida Fairgrounds
What: The county's best-known haunted attraction and scream park, with new themed haunted houses each year. This is the high scare level option on the list.

Tips for Enjoying October Events in Palm Beach County
A few practical notes from years of attending these events around town.
Arrive early. Parking near Harbourside Place, Atlantic Avenue and Clematis Street fills quickly on busy evenings, and a short walk from a garage is usually faster than circling.
Plan for the weather. October is warmer than much of the country, with highs often in the 80s and lower humidity than summer. Bring water, sunscreen for daytime events, and a light layer for the evening.
Carry a little cash and a phone charger. Food trucks and vendors do not always take every payment type, and photos drain a battery fast.
Check before you go. Dates, times and prices are set by each organizer and can shift with weather or permits, so confirm on the event's official page the day before.
One more thing I enjoy this time of year is seeing how each town shows off its own character. A parade in Delray feels different from a pirate festival in Boynton Beach, and a waterfront festival in Jupiter feels different again. If you want more ideas for eating your way around the county afterward, take a look at my South Florida flavor guide.
Whether you pick one event or all of them, October is a fun time to be out in Palm Beach County. Go early, bring a costume if you like, and enjoy the evening.
